Chris McGeown

Chris is a seasoned Executive with more than 35 years of experience in variety of institutional services roles with General Electric, Fidelity Investments, and TIAA.  For more than 10 years, he held the role of Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for Fidelity Investments’ defined contribution (retirement) business. In addition to his role at MDSI, Chris is also the President & CEO of Boston Bioskills Lab, LLC.  Chris has an established track record delivering results in all areas of financial, client, sales, and operating management. More recently, Chris has gained significant experience in medical education and surgeon training to help clients advance utilization of complex minimally invasive device adoption.  As Boston Bioskills Lab’s CEO, he’s delivered excellent financial and client satisfaction results for the business.  During his long career, Chris has developed management skills in various areas, including strategic planning, pricing, client negotiations, sales strategy & implementation, transfer agent operations, risk management, and implementing management processes.

Dr Mitchell Hardenbrook

Dr. Hardenbrook is a board-certified spine surgeon. He specializes in muscle-sparing approaches to the cervical and lumbar spine, motion preservation, minimally invasive surgery, and use of robotics in spine surgery. Dr. Hardenbrook co-founded Boston Bioskills Lab with Steve Anderson. He's also the founder and director of the Advanced Spine Institute of Greater Boston. The Advanced Spine Institute of Greater Boston leverages the latest research and technology to offer leading-edge orthopedic spine care. ​He completed his MD at Hahnemann University School of Medicine (1997) and served in the United States Navy, ascending to the rank of lieutenant commander. He completed his residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center Shock Trauma Center in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, and his fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital under the Tufts University-UMass Medical Center Affiliates.

Paul Benjamin

Paul Benjamin has over 20 years of training and development experience. This experience includes 16 years of medical device sales “training and development” experience with Synthes, DePuy Synthes, Symmetry Medical, AO-North America, Globus Medical, and MacuLogix. He has worked with clinicians, executives, sales, product development, regulatory, and manufacturing professionals to develop training programs for numerous medical specialties, to include orthopedics, neurosurgical, cardiovascular, general/endoscopic, interventional radiology, optometry, and pain management.  Paul has developed, delivered, and assessed materials and programs for clinical and product training courses, distance learning, product launch training, sales skills training, leadership training, customer service skills training, and national sales meetings. A veteran of the US Army where he served on active duty as a Field Artillery Officer, Paul earned his B.S. degree in Biology from Penn State University and M.S. degree in Instructional Design from Quinnipiac University.

Steve Anderson

Steve Anderson co-founded Boston Bioskills with Dr. Mitch Hardenbrook in 2014. He worked for 29 years in the financial-services industry, with Fidelity Investments and TIAA. Steve spent his time marketing asset management and servicing large non-profit organizations. He has extensive experience working with C-Suite Executives.  As a Managing Partner of Boston Bioskills Lab, Steve routinely interacts with the Surgeons and Senior Executives of medical device companies that are the clients of Boston Bioskills, and he has primary responsibility for the marketing, and lead generation of the company. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Framingham State College.

Peter Southard

Peter worked for 35 years in various Institutional sales and marketing roles with Putnam Investments, Fidelity Investments and MFS. He marketed investment management and retirement plan administration to Fortune 500 companies, regularly engaging with C-Suite Executives and senior benefits staff. He was responsible for closing and negotiating the terms of many large, complex business engagements.  During this time, Peter helped with the process of engaging with external Sales Trainers, frequently assisting with the facilitation of departmental sales training events. He has extensive knowledge of a variety of prominent selling systems and has enjoyed helping to mentor younger sales professionals throughout the years. Peter has recently been involved in workplace development with the Northern Rhode Island Career Academy, and as a result, he has spent time teaching basic financial concepts to students at Woonsocket High School and in with elementary school children at a summer enrichment program. Peter has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He lives in Providence, RI.

Sammy Silva

Sammy Silva has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. His experience includes direct sales, sales management, and sales training experience with Depuy Synthes, Sartorius Stedium, and various small industry clients delivering sales training programs and strategies. He also has a strong clinical background having over 10 years of direct operating room experience as a surgical nurse. During his time in clinical medicine he assisted in orthopedics, neurosurgery, general, heart, and vascular surgery. Sammy continues to engage customers now serving as the Director of Sales for Lenoss Medical. His responsibilities in this role have him developing sales strategies, delivering clinical education for physicians and distributors, and negotiating contracts with healthcare systems. Sammy earned his B.S. degree in Nursing and Community Health from New Mexico State University.
